off set pivot set

A quick learner from Raleigh, NC says:

I have a door the is broken at the base of the pivot, the metal part that is anchored to the cement. Do I need the whole set to repair the door so that it can open?

Thanks for posting! Our 79-126 Recessed Door Offset Pivot Set is sold as a complete set, and we always recommend replacing your hardware completely rather than partially. If the rest of it is a little worn down, it may indicate that it will break at any time. It's better to be safe than to be sorry.
