old casement felt compression stripping

Hello,

I am looking for a replacement weather stripping for older casement windows. The original felt type of stripping can not be removed from the metal holder without force. It will not slide out. So I will need a replacement that will include replacing the metal fast. Could I use a compression type rubber gasket or should I use felt type? See pictures.

here are the measurements.

The width of fin is 6 mm (0.2362 inch)
The width of the fin plus metal fast is 7mm (0.2756 inch)
The height is 6mm (0.2362 inch) , excluding metal fast (1MM)

Hi Paul,

The replacement looks to fit, but I will test it first. But do you thing this bubble seal will provide the same or better insulation ability as the old felt material?
