old style block and tackle balancer

Question

Looking for a suitable replacement for this old style block and tackle balancer. The spring length is 12 1/2 inches
The guide rod is 29 1/4 inches
The cable is approximately 38 inches plus whats wrapped around the block.
The spring hooks at the top over a plastic block.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks for writing in! Your balance can be replaced with our Series 770 Channel Balance. Although, to determine the most accurate replacement, you'll need to obtain the length of an undamaged balance.

You'll also need to obtain the exact weight of the sash these balances support. Once you've confirm the exact length and weight you'll be able to select your balance from the list of lengths shown in the link above. There is a chart that lists the weight ranges according to each stamp below the product description for the balances.
