The window opens fully but it won't close. I was under the impression that the Sprocketts ( not correct name ?) but the (Screws) were worn out and so the crank can't engage with the ( whatever it is called.

Thanks for reaching out to us! The worm gear has become stripped from the center of the operator. Unfortunately, this is not something that can be replaced and it isn't sold separately from the mechanism. That said, you will need to replace the entire assembly.

I'm certain there's a replacement we can recommend for it but I'll need to see a photo of the entire assembly to identify it. Please provide photos of the operator arm(s) and how they attach to the bottom of the window.

Feel free to reach out with any other questions you might have.

Ok, I am going to retake photos to, hopefully, show the entire assembly of the two crank mechanisms I am needing for my two windows. I will try getting back to Swisco tomorrow with the photos.

Hi Donna,

Thanks for the additional photo. This operator can replaced with either the 39-032 or 39-156 dual arm operators. To determine which of these is the best fit, you'll need to compare each of their dimensions to your existing hardware.

The opposite handed versions of both operators can be found tagged below, along with the compatible handles, covers, and other hardware.
