order #617017 30in 710 channel balance

I ordered and received 2 30in channel balances. Everything worked fine but I couldn't put the windows back in. The reason being the wrong top as you can see in the attached photos. The ones replaced(white) do not have anything sticking out. The ones received(brown) have a bulge and won't allow me to reinstall the window. What can I do?

I believed you ordered the wrong part. I think you should look at our S395-30 channel balance instead. This should be a closer match.
