ordered replacement of 15-192

Question

noted difficulty with new spring S152-5 being only 1/2" wide and small for the certeented roller. It worked by pressing roller into spring with bench vice. Since this balancer is no longer made which product would you suggest?

Thanks for reaching out. The Series 152 coil spring is not compatible with the 15-192 Certainteed Pivot shoe.

This shoe is compatible with the Series 170 Coil balance spring and in instances where you need to stack the coils the other compatible coil would be the Series 171 coil springs.

May I please see a photo of your existing hardware, removed from the window? I'd be happy to take a look so that we can make sure you getting set up with the right replacement parts.
