parts for 3 windows
4x - DB L 02 2950
2x - 29 (9?) AW CMC 7 this one is hard to read
Hey there,
Thanks for writing in! I am confident we can provide you with the replacement balances needed to complete your repairs but I'll need to gather a few details before we can move forward.
Your photos only include the bottom shoe from the balance. May I also see a photo of the top attachment? I'll also need to see a photo of the pulley system in the center of the balance, where the spring and the string meet.
Given that two of your stamps have a 5 in them, it is likely each of these balances are installed in windows with a sash weight that falls between 28 to 32lbs. That said, it would be a good idea to double check that this is the correct weight range for your replacements. Unfortunately, I am unable to cross-reference the 29-9 stamp to confirm this.
The last piece of information I'll need to know is the measurement for the depth of the bottom shoe. Take a look at the diagram below for reference.
Thanks for the photos! You'll need either the S380-30 with a 1" shoe depth or the S385-30 with a 1-3/32" shoe depth. Use the diagram below as a reference to confirm.
Since the others are marked with a 29 5 and 2950, you'll need the 2950 stamp to replace them. It may be likely you need the same exact stamp option for the 29 9; however, as stated, it would be a good idea to double check the weight to confirm the sash is between 28 to 32lbs.
The 29 9 one came from a window that was much bigger and heavier than the others so yes im guessing its a 28-32 pound sash.
Thanks!
All up i would need 2 of the 29 9
and 6 of the others.
If the window is much larger and much heavier, then it isn't likely that this sash falls between the same weight range. As explained, the 29-9 stamp cannot be cross-referenced and it isn't a stamp we have, unfortunately.
I'll need to know the exact weight of the sash for the window that the 29-9 balances are being installed in. That's the only way to determine the weight range. If you believe the 2950 stamp will work, then you'll need to install them at your discretion. I am not confident that this is the stamp you need, especially since you've confirmed the window is heavier.
For the 29-5 and 2950 balances, I suggest using the S380-30. The order for these can be placed directly on the website using any of the links that were provided. Again, these would both use the 2950 stamp.
Happy to help! Please don't hesitate to reach out with any other questions you may have at the meantime.
