I purchased sliding patio door from Home Depot 16 yrs ago and the handle/latch/locking mechanism is broken, if you need any other pics/info let me know...i cant see any manufacturer info on the door...thank you

Hello! If the only thing that broke is the thumb latch, then my recommend our 82-107. This looks like a great match for your old component.
Otherwise, we do sell the 82-086 lockset by itself. Just note that the thumb latch if offset, not centered. I can't quite tell if that's the same story for yours.

As you can see the handle has seen many better days. I think it best to replace it. Thank you

Your handle set does appear to have an offset thumb latch like the 82-086, so you should be good to go as long as the 3-15/16" hole spacing matches yours.

It's tough to make out accurate dimensions from photos but your hole spacing does appear to be just shy of 4", which would generally correspond to 3-15/16".
