the hook that comes out to lock the door was not staying latched. I tried fixing and when unscrewing the part with the hook it fell down inside of the door. I'm not sure if I need a completely new handle or just the part that is missing in the oval area? We had the door installed by Lowe's I believe it was 2017. I attached the sticker that is inside of the door frame.
Also, the door can be unlocked from the outside with a key.
Thanks for reaching out to us! The mortise lock and the handle set are sold separately from one another. That said, if all you require is the lock, you'll need the 82-218 to replace the one in your door. Carefully look over the dimensions to confirm that this is the right fit for your repairs.

Your handle set is a Legacy Keyed Handle. If you determine they need to be replaced as well, you'll need either the 82-086 or the 82-087. The only difference between them are the available finishes.
