Decades old patio doors facing ocean. Don't know the sliding patio door brand. Single wheel assembly. Two screws on end, one to attach, the other to adjust. All 4 patio doors need their wheels replaced (no longer adjust, rusted solid, bearings destroyed, etc.). Question 1: can we use dual wheel assemblies instead of single (would help for dinged rail)? What measurements are needed or pictures taken to determine best replacement wheel assembly? Thanks.

Hello,
We do not recommend using a tandem roller if your door was installed with single wheel rollers, which could cause more problems than it would fix and you'd be hard-pressed to find one with the exact dimensions you'd need to install it properly. There's a good chance we can offer a replacement for your original roller but we would need to see yours removed from the door, including the width and height of the housing, as well as the wheel diameter to get started. Thank you!
