patio door roller?

Question

I encountered a slider patio door which is missing both rollers.

I found this plastic piece located where the rollers should be (see photo).

I believe the plastic piece may be roller housing but the metal roller part is missing from the center.

The roller itself would be concave

The homeowner thinks it's an acorn door but isn't certain.

Have you any suggestions?

The plastic piece in the photo measures 2-3/4" long , 11/16" wide and also 11/16" high. The bottom section narrows like an inverted pyramid.

I'm not familiar with this piece, and we've had trouble finding anything that matches. It could be the adjustment piece inside a patio screen door corner, like our 84-073. You might need to take the screen door apart to access the rollers.

Now, you say that both rollers are missing. Normally, patio screen doors have 4 rollers; two on top and two at the bottom. Take a look at the videos to the right of this page for more insight.
