patio screen door roller parts

Question

Hello, I have an aluminum patio door w/aluminum screen. It is in Hawaii on a northerly shore, the door facing east to the predominant weather, & the intense rain & salt-water air has corroded the screen roller metal track at bottom. We pounded in place atop the existing track an extender track piece, which seated well & permanently. However, the standard 1" dia x 1/4" width metal roller wheels on the screen door bottom now no longer fit over the track, but stay on top of the new track extender. Because they are not secure on top of the track, they constantly fall off. Do u have slightly wider wheels? Of offer another suggestion on how to cure this issue, short of major removal of the door & its entire bottom track? I did the work, & can do anything needed, as have long been skilled remodeling contractor/carpenter.Thanks much!

Hey there,

The screen door roller you show appears to be the 84-074B. We don't carry a similar roller with a wider wheel, unfortunately.

You've mentioned you added a piece to the track; however, your best option may be to replace it entirely. That said, take a look at the 80-111 track on the website.

I checked and the 84-074B roller seems to roll fine on this type of track. You will also need to remove the black nylon piece from your existing roller to use with this one.
