The 82-107 should work with this kind of handle set; note however that sometimes damage to the thumb lever can suggest damage to the door's internal mortise lock, so you might want to check to make sure that wasn't the cause of the thumb lever breaking. To check this, remove the handle set and try manually throwing the mortise lock with a flathead screwdriver. If it doesn't budge, then you'll know it needs to be replaced also.
