patio sliding door lock

Lock is not functioning properly everything feels loose and you can lock it but it requires finessing The dimensions of the lock are 6" total height, 1" wide, 4 5/8" screw center to screw center. The manufacturer of the door is MI Windows and Doors, LLC. It was installed 20 years ago. The following numbers etc. appear on the frame.
AMAA/NWWDA, 101/1.5.2-97, Serre995,. I also came across SGD-R20-95x79. I was also told by an agency: AL-1 validator and MFR code MTL-2. That is all I've got hope it helps. I want to replace this lock.
