patio sliding door lock

Question

I need to convert the current installed door latch to a lockable one with a key. Current installed one has marking "GLW". The frame is vinyl. If possible I will only want to install a lock barrel to keep cost as low as possible. I intend to do this by myself. Pl suggest a solution.

I'm afraid that your GLW handle is no longer available, and I'm sure what could work with it. It's possible that you could get our 82-310 to work, however I don't know if the outside handle can accommodate it. Check the outside handle to see if it has a cut our knock-out hole to accept something like the 82-310.
