do I have to put any silicone caulking on the bead before installing

Missing glazing on Andersen Window. Color is Terratone. Glass dimension is 20 9/16 wide x 44 1/16 tall as best I can measure. I have one piece of glazing. See pictures. cross section of glazing is about 3/8" x 3/4". The 3/8" section goes into window and the 3/4" section is visible outside. ... (cont.)
