how to remove pella 83-123

Question

I need to replace the latch (83-115) on an 83-123 handle. How do I get the handle off? I removed the Pella emblem from the screen handle and removed the screw. The bottom of the handle is still attached to the screen frame. How do I disconnect it from the frame?

Hi, Ron. Once the screw is removed you should be able to pull the rest of the handle out. It's just firmly held in there at this point, but is not otherwise held in by a fastener or anything. At least, it shouldn't be.
