The latch on the screen door doesn't work that well. For the door to shut, we have to lift it up so that it catches on the other side. If the clear plastic part was a bit longer, I think it would work.

I'm not sure why you might be having issues. There isn't a handle that matches yours with a longer clear plastic part. Pella doesn't generally make alternate versions of their hardware with such subtle differences. Check your rollers to see if they can be adjusted, they may be the issue.
