photos of patio door and handle

A quick learner from USA says:

Attached are photos of patio door and handle. I do not have the mortise lock or of the strike plate or of the lever for the lock. I want to replace these and the handle itself. The opening for the mortise lock in the door is rounded at top and bottom and the screw holes above and below the opening are 7 13/16 apart. The opening itself is 6 1/2 inches high. Screw holes for the handle are 4 13/16 apart.

There is a spring-loaded carriage inside the door that blocks off these holes unless lifted (photo shows screw driver holding it up). Please let me know what I need to keep the door and replace all the hardware in similar color

Hello,

Your handle set reminds me of the 82-080 with 4-15/16" mounting holes, except ours uses the 82-108 mounting plate, which is not shown in your photos. Take a look and see if this might be what your door originally had.

As for your mortise lock, we can't determine what you need without seeing the original assembly but I can tell you that the 82-080 is often used with the 82-238. Review the specifications shown on our product pages and see what you think. If you decide to give them a try and they don't work out for you, our return policy can be found here. Thank you!
