hi,
I have a 27.5in 3 ck caldwell channel balance that I need to replace. I have several windows that I assume all have the same type of balance since they all are the same windows.
I measured the metal channel and while its stamped 27.5 its actually 28.5in in length and .5 in width.
I also do not know the weight of the windows. They are the standard builder specials if that helps.
What do you recommend as a replacement?
picking the correct channel balance

Thanks for posting. I see you were looking at our Series 380 channel balance. Is that what Series matches your balance? Also, would you be able to tell me the weight of the sash? That would be a big help, thank you!

Currently installed is a 27.5in 3 ck caldwell channel balance that I need to replace.
I have no idea as to the weight of the sash but they are a standard window that builders use. Nothing eloborate...

Thanks for getting back to us. Unfortunately, the stamp does not tell me what series you have. Are you able to confirm that the Series 380 is what you have? If not, we'll need pictures of the top and bottom nylon caps at either end of the balance.
I'm afraid knowing that your windows are standard does not help, either. We will need the exact weight of your sash.
