pile stripping

I'm afraid that we don't have anything in either 3/16" x 5/16" or 3/16" x 3/8". Looking at your photos, I don't think those measurements are accurate, but it's difficult to tell from just a tape measure. Wool pile sizes get very, very specific. You also have to mentally account for wear, so the size may be a little less than it was when it was brand new. If you have a pair of calipers then now is the time to use them.
