pile weather stripping plug

Question

Is there such a thing as a plug to put at the bottom of my outside door where my pile weather stripping slides into so that it doesn't drop to the bottom and drag?  Right now I tapped it but was wondering if there was another solution?

Thanks for reaching out to us. What I'd do to keep the wool pile in place, I would tap the wool pile groove so that the pile would stay in place. However, take a look at the suggested plugs and pop rivet related on this page and see if you would like to use something like this.
