I have metal bifold door and replaced hardware using 21-001, 21-007 and 21-154 (see order 1952171). I just removed door and refinnished the hardwood floor. I do no wish to reinstall the rail and inlcuded pivot bracket; I wish to keep floor unobstructed so that I can slide and/or wheel things in/out of closet (I also don't wish to mark uo the floor). Can you please point me to a pivot bracket that will work with 21-001 without need for a rail (i.e., that secures the door at one point on the bottom) such that door is secured at top and bottom, and allows door to slide along rail at top only?

Thanks for reaching out to us. You can use the 23-312 corner pivot bracket with the 21-003 bi-fold door pivot pin. The tip of the 21-003 is 1/4" thick and will fit in the corner pivot bracket. I don't recommend removing the nylon cap from the 21-001 adjusting pin because the tip is 3/16" and might be too loose in the nylon carrier of the 23-312. Take a look at the specifications and see what you think.
