plastic cover

Hello,

I am trying to replace my spiral balances and this plastic cover is preventing me from measuring the length of the balance. Can you help me identify what the part is and do I need to have one installed? It seems like I cannot remove it without damaging it.

Hello,

It looks like you are referring to the balance cover. We do not carry this part but they can normally be popped out of the jamb using something like a putty knife. If you need replacements for those as well, you could try checking with a local hardware store.
