Thanks for posting! We may have found something similar. However, before we do anything, can you tell me what the diameter of your wheels are? We might have something in 3/4" or 7/8" available.

I actually removed the roller from the door so I could get a better picture. Although it mat appear to be fine, the bearings are wiped out. The wheel measures 7/8" across. I just found some writing on the part. It reads Nordahl Burbank, CA Don't know iof this is helpful or not.

I live in a house built in 1958 that has a pocket door. My front roller on the "face" of the door went out (plastic wheel broke apart and ball bearings went everywhere)! After looking at your site, I took the bad roller off and it was stamped with "NORDAHL BURBANK CALIF" like the post above from San Bernadino, CA. I ordered the pocket door roller pair 7/8" (23-175) and it fits like a glove. My pocket door works again.

Will you be making any more of this pocket door roller? Like everybody else, the current replacement parts for older model pocket doors is getting hard to find.

Please let me know if you will be doing another production of this product.

Hello, Edward. We unfortunately do not manufacture or produce parts of any kind. We're just a third party supplier of replacement hardware. If a product is not available on the market, we can't provide it. That includes pocket door parts.

I am sorry for the inconveenice.

I also am working on a house built in 1958. One of the pocket doors is gone along with the hardware. I had one of the others out to take 3/8" off the bottom. There roller system is made uo of a double roller 7/8" that rides in a J channel and is mounted to a bracket on top of the door via a bolt that is pressed in the roller assembly and a nut on the door mounted assembly. I tried some cheap made 3/4" roller that mounted the same way that I found but they won't stay in the track. The door is a lightweight 30x80 Luan hollow core. Do you think those 23-175's will work

I'm afraid I don't know if our 23-175 would work. It would depend entirely on how the old rollers mounted to the door and fit in the track. Based on your description, it doesn't sound like your doors were meant to use a part like our 23-175. It wouldn't be possible for me to predict any potential complications you might run into, assuming the door is able to install with the new rollers to begin with.

I'm sorry that I can't give you a clearer answer on these. I'd be happy to give you a better analysis, but I would need photos of the old setup to start.

Ultimately, pocket doors just aren't made anymore, and so the supply of available parts is dwindling quite rapidly. The 23-175 is one of the few pocket door rollers still in development, but that doesn't mean it works on every door. Just something to keep in mind as you move forward with this project.
