purchase crank doesn't work

A quick learner from pittsburgh says:

I purchase a replacement crank 39-187 as you can see by the photo the window does not close all the way. Comparing it to the old crank the piece from the housing to the swivel joint is longer. Do have a replacement that you can recommend?
