re-key 40-049

Hello,

Can the 40-049 be re-keyed for a Schlage key, or would you need a new cylinder?

I'm afraid the Schlage key #SC1 will not fit the 40-049. The key it has is marked #2F. I also don't believe there is a Schlage key cylinder to fit this lock. Talk to a Locksmith in your area and see what they have to say.
