re: winged door lock

A home owner from Denver, CO says:

I recently purchased the 82-040 secondary patio door lock, winged and it was too wide for the door. I have attached some pictures. The first one is the old lock. The second is both locks together - you can see the new one is too wide. The last pic is the back of the old lock which shows "U.S.A. 45010" I am hoping to find one that matches my old lock so that I can replace it. Thank you for your help!

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with the 82-040 lock. How about our 82-051? Could this be a better option for you? Before you purchase, I highly recommend looking over the dimensions we show for our product on its store page. That way you'll know for sure whether it's the same size or not.
