rear mounting bracket for drawer

The left rear mounting socket cracked on a kitchen drawer - it is heavy white plastic. The glide is a Mepla MR2031/550. The brackets I have been able to find that fit the glide unfortunately do not line up with the existing holes in the cabinet back.

The broken bracket measures:

1 1/4" across the top
2" vertically
and is 3 3/4" long.

The closest I can find on your site is Rear Drawer Slide Socket Pair Product Code: 32-018

Do you know if there is a specific socket that was made for this Mepla glide to line up with the current holes for screws.

Thanks for posting! We do not have an exact match for these, but I do agree that our 32-018 Rear Drawer Slide Socket Pair appears to be the closest that we have. Do you think you can get these to work as a substitute?

Hi,

I just read the July 26, 2012 post in which the home owner from Setauket is talking about possibly using the 32-018 Drawer Slide Socket Pair to replace the broken left rear mounting bracket the connects with his Mepla MR2031/550 glide.

I have what appears to be the same basic problem. I think I could make the 32-018 work even if I have to redrill the holes, but my question is DOES THE 32-018 fit on the Mepla MR2031/550 glide? It's not clear to me how to tell if it fits on the glide. DId the person from Setauket try it successfully? If it fits I'd liket o order it even if it doesn't exactly line up with the current holes.

I would like to know if anyone tried the 32-018 as replacements for the MR2031/500 glides.
I am also looking for the replacement brackets.

I do not think this will work with the mepla 2031/550. My glides are 1 inch tall and the opening on the 32-018 is only 7/8 of an inch. Another thread recommends using the 32-089 and that customers have successfully used them to replace Nepal's brackets. I just bought one to try.

I need to replace the bracket for my 2031/550 glide. I agree that the 32-018 is too small. Does the 32-089 work?

To determine if the 32-089 could work for you, you'll need to compare the dimensions of the opening that accepts the track shown below to your original bracket. If it's a match, you should be good to go. Thank you!

Yes! 32-089 does indeed fit on Melpa MR2031/550 rails.
