these have broken over the years. I will email a photo separately from my smartphone. The internal width is 1 1/8" as best as I can measure; length 3 1/4'.

I would start by looking at our 32-089. Could you possibly use this as a replacement option? The socket opening is 1" x 3/8".

that's what had been suggested by the gentleman I spoke with when I phoned SWISCO pending your advice. When you ask me if I can "possibly" use 32-089 I will say yes and give it a try
