rear sockets for drawer

Question

The drawer rear sockets keep breaking , that we buy. First of all, what makes them break? We need a replacement that is at least 3 3/4" long. The other measurements are the same as I bought. The first image is before installing. The second image is what it looks like after it breaks. These are Hickory hardware.
