HaD condo bUILT in 2006/Centex homes. Have never removed screens.
Homeowners association states some screens need fixed;my Husband and I removed 17 OF 20 SCREENS. While removing;noticing thet SCEEN PLASTIC/VINYL?? WEATHERSTRIPPING IS VERY DIRTY AND WORN. NEEDS REPLACED.Called local Centex homes;# does not exist any longer.
Have to Menards,Homedepot,looked everywhere online AND CAN FIND NOTHING THAT MATCHES.Bought at least 300.00 worth of product and NOTHING WILL STAY "IN" screen slot. The width is 1/4 inch but needs to be "somewhat flat with a "tubular gasket?" Purchased a "FROST KING TUBULAR VINYL GASKET" AND IT WON'T STAY IN THE SCREEN SLOT. 1/2 wide x 1/4 inch thick. read on instruction i could glue IT? How would anyone take it out to clean if gluedPLEASE PLEASE HELP ME. gcrc from Illinois
