removing the latch

how do I remove this type latch (26-244) please?

You remove the 26-244 latch carefully with a flat head screw driver and a hammer. Tap out the old latch from the back edge of the tilt latch. Be careful not to damage your window by trying to force the latch out.
To install the new latch; tap in the replacement latch from the edge of the window.
