replace this cover for the track

Question

Hi, somehow the former owners bent this piece of aluminum and we fear that what it is supposed to keep out is not getting kept out.  Is this something we can replace? I tried bending it back but it seemed to unseat it even more from the track.  Thank you! Kristine
