I ordered a S385-27 option:2620 and it should have been a 2820. My mistake. Is there an 27 in balance with a 2680 option?? If so what is the part number. Thanks for your help, Brian

If your old balance is 29" long, then a 27" balance won't work for you. You want an S385-29 with a 2820 stamp option.

I checked the other windows and they are all 29 inches. The previous owner must have had their handyman install the incorrect size, 27inches.

What I need is a 380-29 with 2820 stamp. The shoe is 15/16ths x 1 x 7/8 inch in a 1/2 inch metal balance.

Can you send me this and I will return the incorrect sized balance?

Sure, you can return the balance you purchased for a refund any time you wish.

Concerning the balance with a 15/16" shoe, we don't have anything in that size but we do have the 15-029 in 7/8". Would that work for you? I can supply you with a balance with that shoe pre-attached, but it would have to be a custom order. I'll email you an order link and price quote right now for two, which is our minimum. You can decide from there if you want to pull the trigger on it.

Alternatively, you could purchase our Series 380 and simply shave down the shoe a little until it's to size.
