replacement channels

Question

I was looking for 2 readily assembled replacement channel balances. While I was able to identify our channels as 12in wide, 28in long, with likely a 19-005 on top and stamped "2740 3SI AJ", I cannot match the shoe and subsequently any balance series in your catalog.

Our shoe is roughly 1/2 in (9/16) in depth, 1-1/8 wide and 1-1/16 high (see photo)
The closest match in width would be the 15-001 with 1-1/8;

The closest in height (and a proper looking center protrusion) would be 15-003 with 1-1/16, but the 15-003 is 1/16 too wide.

I am no expert and 1/8 in width seems a very small variation once mounted along the rail, so I would assume the 15-003 would probably be the best fit - but none of your assembled series is 1/2in, 19-005 on top and 15-003 on the bottom.

What would you recommend?

If the depth of your shoe is 1-1/8", I would go with the 15-001 which shares that depth. It is the most important measurement.

The balance that shares the 19-005 top and the 15-001 shoe is our S395 window balance series. Take a look at the S395-28 with the 2740 option.
