replacement for a storm door handle

We purchased an older home, which had a storm door installed. We do not know the manufacturer of the door, nor the handle. We are unable to remove it and provide you with a picture. The latch slides out and needs to be tightened to secure the door. It has an adjustment area that appears to need an metric allen key or some special tool. A standard allen key will not work. Is there another tool we can use to tighten the latch, or do we need to replace the unit? Please help us identify a replacement part.

Thanks for writing in. I'm afraid I'm not aware of any tool that might help secure this old latch; it's very possible the internal components are simply worn down. In that case, see our 40-150. Look over the dimensions and let me know if you think this could work for you.
