replacement for window habn crank

Home Owner from bainbridge island wa
This is for a milgard window. The window is 20+ years old. I have contacted Milgard and they no longer make or have this part. The gears appear to be striped. Hopefully you can find something that will work for me

Hello, thank you for posting,

It appears your window uses an older version of the 39-091 and 39-092 operator. Please review the overall dimensions to confirm a good fit! Also see the 39-224 and 39-230 for a new handle.

Please note that we cannot provide a replacement for the link arm that connects the operator arm to the window sash. This part will need to be reused for the window to function properly.

Take a look and let me know what you think!

i received your response. It looks like you have a casement operator and handle that will work as a suitable replacement. From what I understand the link arm that connects the operator to the actual window cannot or does not need to be replaced. If this is correct I would like to go ahead and order the operator and handle so I can get the window working again. Please let me know how to order the parts and if they will not work can I return them if of course they are undamaged.

Regards,

David

Hi David,

If the link arm that connects the operator to the window sash is still in good shape, it will need to be reused for the new operator to work. If it is broken and cannot be reused, unfortunately we cannot provide replacement for it and the operator would not be able to connect.

An order can be placed directly on the website from the product pages or by calling us at (888) 991-1929 to assist with an order. Please let me know if you have any additional questions and our return policy can be viewed here
