replacement handles needed please!

Quick Learner from Minneapolis MN

Hi,

I recently bought a house with two windows missing the identical handles. They appear to be missing the spline too. Because the weather is getting colder and they are the 2nd floor, I don't wish to open the windows to see if a brand is inside the jamb. Will you please advise if you can identify and sell me what I need?

Thank you

Hello, thank you for posting,

With the spline missing from the operator, you will need to replace the full crank mechanism. Unfortunately we cannot move forward without seeing the window open where we can see a clear view of the arm attachment. With the window unlocked, you should be able to gently push open the sash to expose the arm.

From there we can confirm the overall style to determine if we can supply a suitable match. Thank you!

The outside window dimension is 23 inches. The part that appears where the arm would attach is 16 inches long.
I hope the pictures help!

Thank you,

Looking at your photos it appears that you need the 39-095 operator which comes with the 16" track, but we cannot guarantee with the original arm missing to measure. We also carry the opposite side if you have another window which opens the opposite way (39-094). You will also need to order the 39-286 handle to go along with the operator.

Take note we also carry these operators with a shorter arm, the 39-150 and the 39-151, but we believe it would be the standard length 9-3/8" arm operator. Take a look on the website to see the hardware listed.

If you have a similar window that is still in working order to compare to, that would be best! Let me know if you have any additional questions.
