replacement latches

Question

The window locking mechanism on my double hung windows do not latch tightly . There seems to be a lot of play in the mechanism that is turned to lock/unlock the window. I am inquiring about buying replacement latches for about 4 windows. These windows were in stalled 1994. The windows seem to close and latch ok, but there is too much play in the latch itself. Replacement part???

Can we see a photo of the part that you're looking to replace? We can't say for sure what will replace your hardware unless we see it.
