replacement lock

It appears the 82-226 will replace this lock.It does have a 3 11/16 bolt pattern with 45 degree slot . Does this seem to be the correct replacement?

I questioned the lock for replacement at first I was thinking 82-226 but after reviewing I just need the lock replaced would lock# 82-218 work?

The 82-218 and 82-226 have the same base, but the 82-226 has a face place with different mounting holes. I cannot see the front of your lock so I'm not sure which is better, but from this angle it looks more like the 82-226. When you compared the dimensions of our parts to yours, which was closer?
