replacement lock parts

Hi there. We have several locks that have broken on these doors, and they were only purchased 1.5 years ago. :o I've included a picture of the labels. It doesn't exactly correspond to what was communicated here, so I thought I'd better double check. The locking mechanism on the door is approx 3.75" screw to screw, measured vertically.

Then labels of the door will not help us identify what you have nor will it help us locate a replacement. The best way to go about finding what you need will be to have you send us photos of the part in question, along with some detailed measurements. From there, we can get started on searching for replacement options.

Thanks for posting. For your mortise lock, see our 82-218. For your handle set, see our 82-087. Compare the dimensions listed on the product pages with your old parts and see what you think.

Looks right. Our handles are fine. Do we have to replace those? Or can we just replace the locking mechanism?

As long as the latch and lock are working on your old handle set, then you only need to replace your mortise lock. You can tell if the mortise itself is what needs to be replaced by removing your old handle set and attempting to manually 'flip' the mortise with a slotted screwdriver. It it fails to flip, then it's the mortise itself that needs to be replaced.
