replacement of 751 balance on single hung weathershield window

A quick learner from south Carolina says:
Since it is not possible to remove the jamb liners on a single hung window, what is the best way to replace a 751TG 34" balance?

Paul from SWISCO responded:
I'm sorry I can't be more helpful, but I've never come across a single hung Weathershield window with a jamb liner. I've typically found their windows to be double hung. I can still try to work through this with you, though. Is there a bracket holding the top stationary?
A quick learner from Murrells inlet, SC says:
There is no "s" hook holding the balance in place. There is a hole drilled at the top of the balance housing that is used to screw the balance into the window frame and jamb.
I may have used the wrong terminology when I said " jamb liner" in my original post.
Single hung windows do not have jamb liners.

I think you may have something other than our S751-33. Can you show us some pictures of your current balance setup? That will tell us right away what you have and what can be done to replace your hardware.
