Thanks for posting. I recommend looking at our S900-28 spiral balance, this appears to match your specifications.

Some of my original message got cut off: I have an Acorn window that needs new spiral tilt window balance, it is a 3/8-inch shaft, 28 1/2" in length. Will i be able to use a 28" or 29" or have custom length made?

Thanks for clarifying! In that case, I think you'll be okay bumping it up to S900-29. Some older window manufacturers used to design their spiral balances on the 1/2", but that style has been phased out. Modern balances are all made on the inch. When encountering the old 1/2" balances, we find that rounding up to the next inch is the best way to go.
