I need to order replacement "tracks" for 2 of my bedroom windows. T They are Patriot windows in my Ryan home that was built in 1989.
I have enclosed a picture of the metal "tracks" needing replaced.
They measure 27 inches long and are metal and contain a string and pulley that allows the window to slide up and down and stay up.
Please let me know of any additional information you may need.

Thanks for uploading your photo, Rebecaa. However, we will need to see a closer view of the balance attachments, as this is what will determine the balance Series.
Are there any markings on the balance? |

Attached are photos of the channel balances I need for 2 Patriot
windows in my Ryan Home that was built in 1989. The windows are non-tilt and the metal balances measure 27" long X 1/2" wide.
Could someone let me know which channel balance I need to order?
Thanks
Beckie

Thanks for submitting your photos, Beckie.
One more thing, are there any markings on the balance? Numbers or letters etched in? |

No, there are no markings on the balances.

Well, we will have to determine the strength of your channel balances. The next step (since there are no markings) will be to weigh your window sash. Remove the window sash and place it on a scale so you can give us the weight in lbs.
This information will determine the stamp on your new channel balances. |

The channel balances weigh 11 ounces. Are there any other "parts" that I need to be aware of when replacing new channel balances that have sprung or come loose?

We will need the weight of the window (not the window balances) in order to determine the correct stamp number.

The window weighs 19.5 lbs
please let me know if I may need any other part in addition to the channel balances. What is the normal parts required when the channel balance goes bad?

The S385-27 with stamp option 2640 will carry a window sash weight of 19 through 26 lbs.
Besides the channel balance, you may need a new top sash guide, which is screwed to the window sash, or a take out clip at the top of the window track. |
