replacement parts needed for marvin casement window 1993

Home Owner from Savannah, Georgia
I am hoping that you can help me for some replacement parts. As you can see in my first photo, I basically need most of parts replaced especially the bracket in photo #2.  In photo #3 the bottom bracket is #51512- 6" long.  The curved arm is #31538A.  This is part of a 3 window set with the middle window stationary.  The rest of the windows are in pretty good shape but the Marvin people are saying that I need to replace the whole set of windows because the parts are no longer available.  The frame looks good- it is just this sash.

Hello,

Take a look at the 39-031 and 39-031 EntryGard operators. The dimensions below would be the determining factor, paying close attention to the length of the shorter link arm. We also offer the 39-107 cover and 39-114L handle if needed, or the 39-107FK for a low-profile option. These operators are used with the 39-505 track. We also offer the 39-509 and 39-510 brackets.

As for the black slider used with the hinges, that part is not available separately, but you can use the 36-048 set if the 10" long base matches yours. See the videos related on this page to assist you. Thanks for posting!

In looking at 36-048 it gives measurements of the short arm as 5 7/16 and space between screw holes as 5". On my current windows, the short arm is about 4 6/16 with 4" between screw holes. Will this be an issue or won't it matter if I'm changing both.  I also came across 36-004-10 in my searches and I'm wondering if I should be using 36-004-10 since I live on an island.

The primary dimension to consider is the 10" length of the base. The rest of the arms aren't a deal breaker since you're replacing the top and bottom hinges. Worst-case scenario, you can make new installation holes to attach the arms to the sash. Just be careful not to hit the glass in the sash frame. I also agree that the 36-004-10 would be a good choice if rust from the ocean is a concern.
