My sliding window has two locks - one at the top & one at the bottom. One of the recessed keepers is missing. Your #90-282 looks like the correct shape but the size is too large. Mine is definitely smaller. Can you help me?

Got the window out but couldn't get the keeper out. It's in there very tight & I didn't want to pry on it for fear of making things worse. But here are the measurements I was able to get: Center to center the mounting holes are 2" apart. The recessed opening for the keeper is 2 3/4" long and 5/16" wide. The depth of the opening looks to be 5/16" also. I could possibly shim a thinner piece but can't be over 5/16". Let me know if this helps or if I can try measuring something else.

Thanks for getting back to us. Based on those dimensions, I believe you can use the 90-282 Keeper. The screw holes are 2" center-to-center. It is 5/16" thick and 2-13/16" wide, and 3/8" high. Look it over and let me know what you think.
