replacement set for exterior storm door

A home owner from USA says:

I have a original aluminum white storm door at the front of the house. The handle is a Swisco black thumb latch( without a deadbolt) Most closely resembles the product code 40-057 style of thumb latch. The interior inside latch is the style product code: 40-117.
The interior latch no longer keeps the door closed in windy conditions, without locking the latch in the closed position.
Does Swisco sell a set for the thumb latch handle( without the deadbolt), together with the inside latch product code 40-117.
What is the price for one set of the thumb latch door handle and inside latch?

Thanks for posting, Fred. The 40-057 actually comes with a thumb latch very much like the 40-117. Would that work for you? I'm afraid it is not available without the deadbolt.

Can someone from Swisco tell me the dimensions of the deadbolt, where in relation to the thumb latch handle to place it if I were to purchase the 40-057. The storm door I have is some 40 yrs old, and only has the thumb latch handle and interior latch. I have no idea, where the deadbolt would be placed exactly in relation to the thumb latch handle.

The dead bolt is actually a separate piece in the kit. You don't have to install it at all, if your door does not use it. You could put it aside in case you ever find you have a need for it.
