Hello there. See our 15-192 Pivot Shoe. This shoe is compatible with our Series 170 and Series 171 Coil Balances. The Series 171 is stacked on top of the Series 170. The first video below goes into more detail. To know what spring weights for your coil balances you need, look for stamp codes on the springs themselves. If there are none, or you are uncertain, weigh your window sash. Give us that exact weight, and we'll tell you what you need. 

For generic advice on removal and replacement of the coil balance system, see the second video below. While this is a different coil balance system, the principles are the same.
