how to replaceme 36-030

A home owner from WV says:
how do I get the shoes on the awning window bar? The bar is flattened on the ends and therefore the ends are much larger than the shoe cyclinder.

Thanks!

Good afternoon, and thanks for posting! I believe that you must take the bar off of the window sash first. From what I recall, the bar is in two pieces and connected in the middle of the sash. That's where the shoe slides off.
